Set up your phone and your browser. Use the same sign-in option everywhere to keep one library.
On your iPhone or iPad
The native app is being tested. A public App Store download and TestFlight invitation link aren’t available yet.
For now, add the ReadRex web app to your Home Screen:
- Open readrex.com in Safari on your phone or iPad and sign in.
- Tap Safari’s Share button and choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the actions.
- Tap Add. Open ReadRex from its new icon whenever you’re ready to read.
To save today, copy an article’s link and tap Save something in ReadRex. The Home Screen web app does not include the native iPhone Share extension.
On Android
Open readrex.com in Chrome, then use the browser menu’s Install app or Add to Home screen option. There is no native Android download. If ReadRex does not appear in another app’s Share menu, copy the link and use Save something.
In desktop Chrome
The extension is available for early access through manual installation. Follow the Chrome setup guide, pin the dinosaur, and sign in to ReadRex in the same Chrome profile. A Chrome Web Store install link will appear here once it is available.

New saves start privately on Up next, unless you choose a Friends default in preferences. Finishing and recommending remain separate decisions.
